Participation is an invitation, not an assertion of endorsement by any individual or institution.

Developers, students, data contributors, documentation contributors, open-source maintainers, and researchers-in-training can all help make the work more precise.

Expertise is not required to flag an unclear definition or find a broken link. Claims should be labelled by evidence and review status, regardless of who submits them.

Data & evidence

Suggest a structured entry, submit a source, or identify missing context. Separate the source’s findings from your own interpretation.

Scientific review

Review claims, challenge assumptions, and record the limits of an assessment. Include the relevant field and scope of expertise.

Ontologies & terminology

Improve definitions, propose relationships, or identify terms that carry conflicting meanings across disciplines.

Software

Improve schemas, validation, accessibility, integrations, or developer tools under the relevant project’s contribution rules.

Documentation

Clarify explanations, add worked examples, improve citations, or make technical material easier to navigate.

Research proposals

Describe a question, a candidate model, a baseline, and a way to evaluate it in a controlled environment.
